How public libraries make cities (and towns) work

Posted in on a + note by flickfancy on July 7, 2014

kitty#27I just watched the March 14, 2014 TED talk by the amazing New York City Planner Amanda Burden entitled: How public spaces make cities work: http://on.ted.com/a0GrY.

It’s only 18 minutes and really interesting; just replace the word “park” with “public library” and your library heart will soar!

May we all attend a TED talk some day!!!

Have a great week…
